Twenty-five years after their first national run, The Uninvited are having a second act, back on the road with a high-energy live show stretching the boundaries of the West Coast Sound. The band’s genre-bending style leans heavily on an wide and varied mix of instrumentation including guitar, Hammond B3 organ, piano, banjo, mandolin, melodica, percussion, and of course, the unmistakeable, signature sound of the Taylor Brothers’ harmonies. The Uninvited are a San Francisco Bay Area alt-rock/Americana band built around brothers Steve and John Taylor and their unmistakable vocal harmonies. After winning MTV's Beach House Band competition, signing with Atlantic Records and touring nationally behind four charting singles, the band developed a devoted audience drawn to its mix of melodic rock, Americana instrumentation and irreverent songwriting.

Reformed and recording again, The Uninvited released Broken Promiseland and were named Best Band in the East Bay by Diablo Magazine in 2025. The current lineup combines the band's catalog with a muscular, high-energy live show featuring guitars, Hammond organ, piano, banjo, mandolin and multi-part vocals.
